UNTIL YESTERDAY, I THOUGHT IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE TWO POPES TO CONCELEBRATE THE CANONIZATIONS OF BLESSED POPES JOHN XXIII AND JOHN PAUL II

Yesterday was a big news day at the Vatican. Maybe they forgot the center of the world, the USA was on a long holiday 4th of July weekend. But I digress.

But what happened at the Vatican yesterday? It was a day of two popes and four popes. The day began with the two popes' encyclical, The Light of Faith.

Then in an astounding gesture, Pope Francis consecrated the Vatican to Saint Michael the Archangel who defends us in battle against the wickedness and snares of the devil who prowls the world and the Vatican for the ruin of souls. Given the corruption in the Vatican, especially with its so-called "Institute of Religious Works" one can see why two popes would be necessary to deal with such a Wiley Coyote.

But the very fact that Pope Francis allowed Pope Benedict to be at a "Solemn Consecration" to deliver the Vatican from the throws of the devil, tells us that the Holy Father doesn't mind the Holy Father Emeritus being present for liturgical and semi-liturgical celebrations.

Which leads me to the canonization of the two Blessed Popes. I predict now, through my clairvoyance, that Pope Benedict Emeritus will concelebrate with Pope Francis the canonization of these two popes.
