I like the last part: "...unlike any other Gregorian Chant recording for kids." LOL!!!
I do wonder if the kids were taught these as tunes before events during the day, e.g. playtime, naps, and meals, if they would not begin to associate the peaceful songs with happy times and events. The songs of the family, as it were.
Once, when my children were in Saint Anne's Church school in Sumter, SC, I went to the church mid-day for some errand and the children were already inside. They were singing a hymn in such simple and elegant tones that even on the sidewalk out front it had an effect on people. The memory is so vivid and pleasant I would hope everyone could experience a similar event.
