Eastern Rite Roman Catholics in Iraq are being asked not to celebrate Christmas publicly this year. Many have already been martyred. Midnight Masses are being canceled and fear reigns supreme. Bishop Kevin Boland has asked that the second collection for Christmas be in part dedicated to a relief fund for Catholics in Iraq. Pray for them!
