In the wake of this, we were told that we had very little in common, and would benefit from "counseling". His voice was part of th...I truly miss Paul Harvey. His voice was part of the way the world sounded as I was growing up. We heard him everyday at lunchtime and each evening ("and now for the rest of the story") in my childhood and younger adult years. To me, he personified the good that I saw in the older adult generation (those who became adults well before the 1960's). With his generation, there seemed to be more consensus about what was good and acceptable in our culture.
