That would involve one priest singing the entire Mass in Latin and the congregation/altar servers singing the responses, right?<br /><br />It seems like both now and pre-Vatican II it would be difficult for a lot of parishes to have the necessary people to pull off a High Mass every Sunday, which might explain the Missa Cantata (seems more "high" given the singing, but doesn't require additional ordained personnel).<br /><br />I'm no expert, though, as I'm still trying to learn all this stuff - I was born too late! <br /><br />But seriously, Father, I really appreciate your learning and saying the Latin Mass here at St. Joseph.
