The only other dissonance was the fact that the Holy Father prayed the “Prayer Over the Offerings” facing the congregation. Yes, His Holiness prayed the “Prayer Over the Offerings” with his back to the offerings. Makes no sense whatsoever.

PF knows next to nothing about liturgy and has long since ignored what Guido Marini has to say. Papal ceremonies are going from bad to worse and quite frankly I don't care. I have no intention of ever attending one, and the last thing on my shopping list is a selfie stick (obligatory, it seems, for concelebrants these days).
